Edwin Escobar

    Planting in Ometepe Island, Nicaragua

Edwin was born in Santo Tomás Chontales, Nicaragua. At the age of 11 his parents converted to Christianity; two years later he received Christ as Savior. In high school he joined a church and began serving where he eventually became a member of their youth board. While planning a youth camp, Edwin was connected with Jared Cox, now the Senior Pastor of Harvest Managua. Several months later Jared asked Edwin to work for the youth ministry that he had started in Managua.

Planting a church on Ometepe Island that proclaims God’s name, has healthy, biblical doctrine, and makes a difference in society has been on his heart for many years. He is looking forward to a fall lunch in 2012.

Edwin is married to Esli; they have one daughter.
