Church-planting is part of Adi's heritage—his grandparents on both sides were pioneers of a Baptist movement in Romanian villages that started house churches. Although he grew up in the church, it wasn’t until Adi was 16 years old, after hearing the gospel clearly presented, that he surrendered his life to God through Jesus Christ. On that day he knew that his life was eternally secure.
Persecution in Romania put Adi’s faith to the test as he was threatened to be thrown out of school for confessing Christ. Through these challenges, Adi grew strong in the Lord and entered the military in 1980. Upon his return home, he began investing in children throughout Romania. Serving with Campus Crusade for Christ, Reach Out Youth Solution, Baptist Christian Youth and Romanian Missionary Society all confirmed Adi’s desire to pastor a local church. On September 26, 1999, Adi was ordained by the Baptist Union under the blessing of Sibiu Baptist Association.
Adi received his pastoral training at Emmanuel Baptist Theological Institute in Oradea, Romania and worked on his MA at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Theology.
Adi has pastored in many churches, but when called to lead a group of worshipers in Brasov, God began confirming His desire to partner with Metanoia and Harvest Bible Fellowship. In agreement with the values and distinctives the core group decided to partner with Harvest-Metanoia Arad. On February 7, 2010 this partnership was confirmed.
Adi is married to Floare and they have one daughter, Dora, a son-in-law, Vlad, and one grandchild, Thomas.
